This particular rod was built as a memorial to George Griffith, founder of Trout Unlimited. The rod is in near mint original condition. All sections are full length and straight. The rod features handsome darkly flamed cane with exquisitely wrapped transparent, caramel brown silks with black tipping. Garrison style hook keeper. The script remains clean and bold.

The tensioner works as intended with a good range of spring tension

The rod has beautifully flamed and honey-colored blanks with chestnut brown silks and gold tipping

The cigar grip is 6" in length with mild soiling and a bit of minor ridging

Beautiful varnished cane finish with copper wraps and gold tipping
