This 00 model was the lightest of Stan's salmon reels, made to accommodate a #7 line for grilse or large sea trout. It weighs 8. 3 ounces according to my scale. Mint unused condition. The frame, spool, and sideplates are all black anodized. The crank, foot, oil port cover, poacher's knob, and Bogdan nameplate are clear anodized. The step ferrules are oxidized and retain 98% of the original oxidation

The retrieve is silent on the inbound with a click on the outbound

Nice strong check throughout its range

The "Hendryx" stamp on the ebonite is nice and crisp to this day

The fly line goes through the guides very smoothly

this could easily be sewn up

We rarely see his rods on the resale market
