The rod is a brilliant caster - medium fast action
Also loaded with line and backing - unused also
The rod features impregnated dark straw colored cane with burgundy wraps
Also includes a photocopy of the 1984 catalog listing of the Deluxe Series
Very good condition throughout
One page has detached from the spine but remains present
but lightly filed on both ends and a prior owner etched some initials into it as shown in the photos
” the floating pawl system was standard for all Perfect reels from 1911 to 1916
This reel is priced attractively based on the spool showing some minor corrosion as well as having a slight chip in it (see last photo)
The cap and ring appear to be anodized with the sweetgrass logo anodized on the cap
