Hardy Perfect 3 3/8" with ceramic line guideFor sale here is a Hardy Perfect with a MKII check 3 3 8" diameter. This reel is from the mid 1920s and has a flawless ceramic line guide, which is not original to a reel of this vintage. The replacement was well done and looks very nice. Very tight reel mechanically. Smooth brass foot has been filed very slightly on one end. Ivorine handle spins freely. Strap over tensioner works perfectly. Reel foot is 2. 5" long and the reel weighs 8. 4 oz fully

Size 11/64 ferrules and the ferrule fit is good

A progressive medium taper that loads extremely well in close with a full flexing action for very delicate fly presentations

The only signs of use I could find were one minor corner ding and two almost microscopic pits - this reel is in excellent shape overall

Comes with an original Orvis leather/canvas reel case

Hidden hook keeper as well as one in the traditional location

Rod bag and aluminum tube with brass bottom and top
