1970's Guyatone (by Matsumoku) SG-28 Hollowbody Guitar (Cherry Red)A higher quality build than many Guyatone models, the SG 28 was made by Matsumoku in the early 1970's (rather than the usual Guyatone factory that made most of the entry level models). Bound thinline hollowbody construction with a cherry red finish that has a very subtle burst, slim bolt on maple neck with a triple bound rosewood fingerboard (40mm nut width with a 628mm scale length) loaded with block inlays, weighs a nimble 2. 9kg's. Seems to be all

Frets are shiny and play well with some pitting but have life left

Loaded with a pair of Gotoh FHM-3210 humbuckers and a Fernandes branded locking tremolo system

this guitar has been heavily played over it's life

The onboard amplifier and speaker are surprisingly useful and the contour of the body is comfortable to play

Good used condition with light signs of wear but no major chips or damage

Loaded with a Fernandes branded licensed Floyd locking tremolo system along with the famous Sustainer Lite system (with an on/off toggle and a mode select switch)
